Linda Lee Martin Valparaiso Linda Lee Martin, 63, of Valparaiso, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2004 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center. She was born January 10, 1941 in Gary, the daughter of Dean William and Betty Lou (Osborn) Powers, graduated from Liberty Township High School and had worked at Valparaiso Ace Hardware downtown for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Christian Womens Club. On October 24, 1959 in Valparaiso, she married James E. Martin who survives along with their two children: Brenda (Bill) Gabriel of Valparaiso and Todd (Sandi) Martin of Valparaiso; five grandchildren: Katelyn, Madison and Courtney Martin and Erin and Erik Gabriel, half brothers and sisters: Pat Fitzgerald of Illinois, Ted O'Brien of Florida, Debbie Brown of North Carolina, Erma Brackin, Dee Banks, Carol Weisse, Terry Barker and Bill Powers, all of Arizona. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Valparaiso, Rev. Donald Williams officiating, with cremation to follow at Angelcrest Crematory. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 6 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School. angelcrestinc.com
