Leon F. Williams, 64, of Weare died peacefully April 2, 2015, at Hospice House in Concord surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Grasmere on Oct. 22, 1950, to Walter and Vesta Williams. Leon attended Weare schools and served with the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He drove trucks for many years and was employed by the Town of Weare until his retirement in November 2013. He enjoyed hunting and golfing; however, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.Members of his family include his wife of 44 years, Linda Foote Williams; his daughters Patricia Sizemore and her husband, Paul, Kristi Lover and her husband, Ron, all of Weare; one son, Leon Williams, and his wife, Jennifer, of Milan; 10 grandchildren; brothers Walter Williams of Milford and Roger Williams of Oregon; sister Sandra Lahey and her husband, Barry, of Weare and sister Virginia White of Allenstown; many nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St. Goffstown. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
