Mother Katie Ann Webb Williams, daughter of the late Priestley and Katie McCode Webb, was born May 3, 1911 in Oconee County, S.C. She was the widow of Eddie Williams. Mother Williams was a member of New Zion FBH Church where she was the oldest member and faithfully attended until her health declined. She was employed by Mr. and Mrs W.N. Leslie and helped raise their daughter, Norma Jane Leslie Shaw. She also worked for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shaw and helped raise their children, Donnie Shaw, Ronnie Shaw and Deborah Shaw Winkler. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted niece, Mrs. Ernestine (Jerry) Moss; her God given family: daughters, Mrs. Jane (Jack) Shaw, Mrs. Jane (Frank) McCravy; grandchildren, Donnie (Angela) Shaw, Ronnie (Sandy) Shaw, Deborah (Tim) Shaw Winkler, Frank McCravy, Jr, and Claire (Rusty) McCravy McMakin; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at New Zion FBH Church at 1 p.m. with interment at Pinedale Memorial Park. The remains will be placed instate at 12 noon.A Service of S.C.
