Union Point - Mrs. Katie Walker, age 94, of Union Point passed away Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at her residence.Mrs. Walker has resided in Union point for over fifty years coming from Wilkes Co., Georgia. She was a retiree from Chipman Union as a machine operator with over ten years of service. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Union Point and a member of the Homemakers Sunday School Group.Survivors are her daughter, Willie Mae Sisson of Union Point; a brother, Roger Johnson of Charleston, S.C.; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grand-children.Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 7th, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Union Point. Burial will follow the service in Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday, December 6th, 2004 at Callaway Funeral Home of Union Point.Callaway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
