Westerly - Kathleen M. "Kathy" (James) Jacques, 60, peacefully entered into her saviors arms early Saturday Aug. 30, 2014, at her home in Tomaquag Valley, R.I. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Jacques Sr.Born in Westerly, on Nov. 3, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Lester D. and Prudence (Gardner) James. Kathy graduated from Riverside Medical Center School of Nursing in 2003, receiving her LPN degree.She was an active member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Ashaway, R.I.Besides her husband, she will be sadly missed by her two children, Allison L. Roderick (Michael) of Wakefield, R.I., and Justin C. Jacques of Bradford, R.I. She was the sister of L. Douglass James of Bradford, Eva Bareiss of Florida, and Ronald James of Bradford. She also leaves her stepchildren, Robert E. Jacques and Regina Grace, both of Westerly.She was predeceased by her step son, Randall Jacques.A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 27 Chase Hill Road, Ashaway, RI 02804. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.Arrangements have been entrusted to Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly.Donations in Kathy's memory may be made to Pilgrim Baptist Church.
