KAREN L. WHITE CROWN POINT, IN In loving memory of Karen L. White, age 61, of Crown Point, IN who passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009. She was a mother to many and a friend to all. Many people relied on her strength, wisdom, and love to carry them through. She was a spiritual inspiration to all and was always there for all of her children, related or not. She brought out the gifts they had inspired them to find their gifts. Karen was very creative and loved, drawing, painting and doing crafts with her grandchildren. Our love for her will never die it will live on in our hearts until we meet again. We love you. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Krista; her brother, Keith Jones; parents, Alonzo and Virginia Jones; and dear friend, Sue Clinton. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Russell "Les" White of Crown Point; two sons: Russell "Rusty" White and Randell "Randy" White; three grandchildren, Jacob "Jake", Jeremy, and Jeffrey; sister, Kathy Jones; brothers-in-law: Mr. & Mrs. Ray White and Mr. & Mrs. Charles Puckett; niece, Lois Ever; her best friends and family friends: Linda Loomis and Suzie Sloan, Dee Samano, Carrie Robinson, Donna Cacini, Robert Clinton, Jon and Dawn Clinton, Tracy Clinton, Michelle Ohlenkamp, Edna Moroshan, Jewel Lamphier, Don Obert and Larry Batchler, all her CPHS Drama Kids; and many other family and friends. In honoring Karen's wishes, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Bishop Charles R. Puckett officiating.
