PORTER - June Gauthier, 50, of 607 Ossipee Trail passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005 at home after a brief battle with cancer. June was born May 13, 1955 in the Sabbath Day Lake area of Gray, the daughter of Richard and Charlotte (Davis) Robinson. June worked for a time at the Robinson Mfg Woolen Mill in Kezar Falls. June's favorite quotes were, You don't promise a child and then break that promise, and If you don't want to hear the answer, then, don't ask the question. June enjoyed her kids, cats and the outdoors, especially canoeing and camping. She also collected model canoes, enjoyed rebuilding her home and took pride in owning her own wrecking bar and chop-saw. She was known to make a great biscuit and serve the hunters a great breakfast. She was enthusiastic with her yard work and her flowerbeds. June is survived by her husband, Gerald A. Gauthier; three children, Ethan A. Reed with wife Heather and their five children of Porter, Darcy Spaulding with husband Jason of Porter, and Christopher C. Jones of Porter; and five stepdaughters and their children. Additionally June is survived by three sisters, Cindy Campbell with husband Reg of Freeport, Beverly Fossett with husband Ron of North Waterboro, and Ellen Campbell of Oxford. June requested no funeral services, but, to have her ashes spread on the lawn of her home. This request will be honored in the spring.
