A native of Madison County, she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late Minyard and Clemie Hensley Lloyd, and the wife of the late Britt Williams. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Nash. Surviving are her sons, David B. Williams and wife Gail of Weaverville, Bruce Williams of Weaverville and Calven Williams and wife Leah of Leicester; daughter, Jeannette Williams of Weaverville; sisters, Vonda Williams of Erwin, TN and Gweneth Metcalf of Mars Hill; brothers, Winston Lloyd of Madison County and Doyle Lloyd of Etowah, TN; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dedrick Clark officiating. Entombment will be in Lewis Memorial Park.
