EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Juanita Mitchell Morris, 84, entered into rest on Thursday December 7, 2006. She was the loving wife of 60 years to the late James William Morris Sr. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt's Funeral Home with Reverend William Harrell and Reverend Barry Daniels officiating the ceremony. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Morris Fuller and her husband Allen of Martinez, Gina Morris Annis and her husband Michael of Evans. One son, James W. Morris Jr. and his wife Debbie of Augusta, one brother, James Willis Mitchell and his wife Shannon of Martinez. Five grandchildren, Jennifer Annis Jacobs and her husband Philip, Jessica Fuller Jobe and her husband Jason, Chancelor Allen Fuller, Emily Elizabeth Annis, and Michael Norville Annis Jr. and one great- grandchild, James Mugsy Jacobs. Mrs. Morris was known for her dedication to the Lord and her church, love of her family, kindness to others, and a genuine affection for all children. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church and Emory Sayer's Sunday School Class. Mrs. Morris was born in Augusta and had lived in Evans for the past thirty three years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abilene Baptist Church Building Fund for the Children's Wing at 3917 Washington Rd. Martinez, Ga. 30907 Pallbearers will be Charles Ennis, Billy Morris, Gregory Lepard, Christopher Lepard, David Annis and Barry Fuller.
