Family-Placed Funeral Notice JIMMIE W. DAVIS, JR. 67, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2005. He was known as Sonny by his family and Poppa by his grandchildren. He was born in Vienna, GA and was a Navy Veteran. He retired to Royal Palm Beach after 25 yrs at the NYC Transit Authority. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his generosity, gentleness and kindness. Jimmie took joy in cooking for others; we'll never forget his bar-b-que and Sunday dinners. He leaves to mourn him his loving wife of 43 years, Tina, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, his mother and brother, sister-in-law, aunt, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, family, friends and neighbors.
