MacDONALD _ Joyce Margaret April 3, 1948 - January 27, 2008 Joyce Margaret MacDonald, of Calgary, beloved sister to Steffan Varnel, passed away peacefully following her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the age of 59 years. Joyce was born and raised in Lethbridge, AB to Jack and Anna Gushowatyj. Her career devoted her to Banff and Calgary. Joyce was a student of Simon Fraser University and the University of Calgary. She started her career as a teacher and later became a business owner. Joyce was an avid traveller, visiting many countries, with her favourite being the tropics and Hawaii. Besides her brother Steffan, Joyce is also survived by her niece Natasha Skidmore and nephews, Sean and Donon Varnel. A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com .
