Joyce Hughes, of 50 Ramsey Court Apt. No 30-A, died Nov. 7, 2003 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James and Ruth Mae Turner Blakely. She was employed with courier express.Survivors are a daughter, Janice Denise Blakely, of Fountain Inn; sons, Jerry Allen Blakely, Shaun Alexander Blakely and Lee Muhammad Arshaw Hughes, all of Greenville; sisters, Judy Jenkins, of Greenville, Jacqueline Williams, of Gastonia, Jean Crowell and Jill Williams, of Washington, D.C.; brothers, James Blakely Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., Joseph L. Blakely, J.R. Blakely and Jerry Blakely, all of Greenville; and 15 grandchildren.Funeral service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. -- Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.The family is at the home.
