MILLER Joyce Christine (nee Harris) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce on August 9, 2008 at Vancouver General Hospital. Born in Vancouver on February 13, 1924 , Joyce was predeceased by her husband Henry (Hank) in 2005, and lifetime friend, Avis Bozyk, in June 2008. She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins in New Zealand, Australia and England, her niece Cass and Jack in Nova Scotia (Rosemary and John) and her many long-time friends and neighbours. Joyce will be fondly missed by her Westcoast Energy Retiree friends and fellow Beta Sigma Phi 1264 members. Joyce was a loyal friend and will be remembered for her passion for cats and travel, her great sense of humour and love of life. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver, followed by a reception for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA, Richmond Homeless Cats Shelter or charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
