Joseph Bloom HAMILTON - Joseph Bloom, 66, of Hamilton passed away on Monday at Capital Health Systems - Hopewell Campus. Born in Trenton, he was a Trenton/Hamilton area resident for most of his life, living in Jacksonville, FL, for a short period of time several years ago. Joseph retired from U.S. Steel in Fairless Works, PA, after 25 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, and loved to play Texas Hold'em. Joe also enjoyed going to yard sales and Columbus Market. He had a small engine-repair business that he enjoyed in his retirement. Son of the late Abe and Ruth Parent Bloom, brother of the late Bonnie Pucci and Eva Barrett, he is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen Fiscus Bloom; three children: sons, Michael Bloom and his wife, Tanya, and Joseph Bloom, his daughter, Sherry Corbin and her husband, David; two sisters, Barbara and Pamela Bloom; two grandchildren, Patricia Markee and Jessica Coderoni; one great-grandson, Aiden Markee; a nephew and niece, Patrick Barrett and Vicki Forrest, as well as many other family members. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St., Hamilton, with the clergy of Our Lady of Sorrows/ St. Anthony's Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the memorial home.
