WILLIAMS - John N., 83, a resident of 13 Baxter Lane, died Saturday, January 1, 2005. He was born in Bogota, NJ, March 6, 1921, the son of Roger and Emma D. Nelson Williams. He graduated from Drexel Institute of Technology in Philadelphia, PA. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Mr. Williams was employed by General Motors for 17 years and retired from Diesel Parts Corp., where he had been employed for 25 years. He lived in Fairfield, CT before moving to Maine in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy V. D. Williams of Topsham, two daughters, Pamela A. Fridlington and her husband John of Yarmouth, ME and Sarah N. Korte of Ashburn, VA. Two sisters, Mary Louise Wells of Wayne, NJ and Josephine Eichorn of Hammondsport, NY. Four grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, at the First Congregational Church, Walton Place, Stamford. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
