AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. John Lee Anderson (Simmons), 61, of Richwood Drive, Augusta, entered into rest on August 28, 2008 at University Hospital. He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Lunetta Simmons; four daughters, Johnnie Mae, Angela, Pamela Simmons and Audrey Ravenol; four sons, Christopher, Darrin (Tonya), Johnny Jr., (Christina) and Kevin Simmons all of Augusta; four sisters, Clara Johnson of Sumter, S.C., Joann (Jimmy) English, Georgia (Lofton) Evans, Jacqueline (Kenny) Thomas all of Augusta; and Ester Daniel of Killeen, Texas; five brothers, Isiah, Henry Lee (Ernestine), Dwight, and Larry (Mary) Johnson all of Augusta, and Timothy Anderson of Norfolk, Va.; five brothers-in-law; ten sisters-in-law; one uncle; four aunts; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 6, 2008, 2 p.m. at C.A. Reid Memorial Funeral Home with Evangelist Louis Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Walker Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home, C.A.
