JENNINGS, III, JOHN L., 69Ocala - John L. Jennings, III of Ocala, FL died Nov. 21, 2009 at the age of 69 years. He was born in Danville, VA. JJ was an avid golfer and entertained many singing and playing his guitar. He had a passion for animals particularly dogs. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Celua, his brother, Richard Jennings, half brother, David Jennings, daughter Suzzette Acree and husband Chris, daughter Julie Jensen and husband Troy, stepdaughter, Kirstie Anderson, stepson, Sean Hamilton, sister in law, Judy Doolittle, brother in laws, Jim Doolittle and Ray Swier, twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 10:00 am at the Church at the Springs, 3233 Maricamp Road, Ocala, FL 34471, 352-624-0545. A private family burial will be held following the Memorial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
