JORDAN, John John L. Jordan, 81, of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, January 10, 2014 in Chattanooga surrounded by his family. The son of the late John and Mable Northcutt Jordan, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, graduated and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Tennessee State University and was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. A memorial service will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 12 Noon (CT) on Monday, January 13, 2014 with Reverend Shellie Rossini Jordan II officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 10 am (CT) until service time on Monday.
