GOODWIN, John Albert 59 years, passed away on June 15, 2004. Beloved husband of 31 years to Claudette (nee Renaud). Dear father of Jennifer Watson and husband Brian, Mathew Goodwin and wife Tina. Dear son of Gwen Koch of B.C. and the late Joseph Goodwin. Dear nephew of Ron & Nonie Smith of Vancouver, B.C. Dear Son-in-law of Alphonse Renaud and Irene (nee Dufault). Special thanks to the Orchid Terrace Retirement Home in Tilbury for their excellent care. John was a member of the Carpenters Union of Windsor, Local 494 for 40 years. Visiting Thursday and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 10:15 a.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 to Annunciation Church, Stoney Pointe for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Parish prayers Thursday, 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest with entombment of ashes at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of John Goodwin in the Melady Heritage Forest
