DAVIS, Joan Marie (nee Lamb). August 13, 2008 passed away with her family by her side. Joan was deeply admired for her courage and love and was an inspirational woman to many. Dear wife of Marc Begin. Predeceased by her beautiful daughter Joanne (Mike Lefebvre) and her husband of many years, Paul Davis. Loving mother of Tim (Joanne), Patti (Dave), Mike, Lisa (Bruce), Peter (Kelly). Nanny Joan will be dearly missed & cherished by her 12 grandchildren; Kyle, Kristyn, Mathew, Kayla, Jaclyn, Brandon, Derek, Jeffrey, Jenna, Hanna, Tyler and Jake. Joan will also be fondly remembered by her sister Betty Willoughby (John), nieces and nephews Kathleen, Michael, Tommy & MaryLou and Marc's daughters Ann Mamane, Lucy McGlashan & Claire Forbes. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday August 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield, Ontario. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
