ANDERSON _ Joan F. Mrs. Joan Anderson of Millarville passed away at the Oilfields Hospital, Black Diamond, on July 19, 2005 at the age of 53 years. Joan will be dearly missed by her husband George Cartwright, and children Michelle Cartwright and Robert Cartwright, all of Millarville. Joan is also missed by her mother Lois Fraser of Whitehorse; sisters, Debra (Pat) Downey of Clearwater, B.C., Vanessa (Geoff) Grant of Whitehorse; and brother Colin Anderson of Calgary. She was predeceased by her father Robert Anderson. Joan was born in Nova Scotia in 1952. She worked for the Calgary School Board for the past twenty-eight years, finishing her career as assistant principal of Jack James High School in Calgary.
