DAVIS, MRS. JEWELL BEATRICE (BRUMMIT) - age 88 of Johnson City, passed away June 14, 2014 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ. She retired from the former Chamberlin Memorial Hospital in Rockwood. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.J. Davis;her parents, Clyde and Ora Brummitt; one grandson, Justin Blankenship; and one great grandson,Jackson Blankenship.Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Sheryl and husband Mike McGraw of Cordova, TN, and Myra and husband Larry Blankenship of Johnson City, TN; one brother;one sister; four grandchildren;five great grandchildren; numerous other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.The family will receive friends June 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Minister Charles Brown and Daniel and Peter McGraw officiating. Interment will be June 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
