Jessie Mae Williams - SAVANNAH - Jessie Mae Williams was born June 3, 1932 in the small town of Americus, GA. Raised by Will and Catherine Green, Sister Williams was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Sis. Williams attended Savannah Public Schools. She was a faithful employee of Saint Joseph's Hospital where she retired after 20 years. After hearing a message about the prodigal son, she gave her life to Christ. Those who knew her knew her as a loving Christian woman who loved and served God. She went on to become an active member in her church Gospel Sound Deliverence Center where she served faithfully as an ordained helper. She also did volunteer work at a local senior citizen center in the Savannah area. Sister Williams was full of life, love, and happiness which she shared freely with the world. She will be missed by a host of many, but never forgotten and always loved. Survivors: two daughters, Peggie (Sanford) Canady of Bronx, NY and Janice Williams Reese of Savannah, GA; eight sons, Bennie E. (Linda) Myers, Charles Williams, James Williams, Harvey Williams, Carl (Beverly) Williams, Elder Hosea (Jeanene) Williams all of Savannah, GA, Willie Edward (Betty) Williams and Willis Williams all of West Palm Beach, FL.; 20 grand children, Joseph, Anthony, Victor, Felicia, Frank, Keith, Cynthia, Aziza, Pamela, Qurana, Tamika, Charles, Harvey, Jr., Jasmin, Ashley, De'Andre, Wanda, James, Chase and Kevin; 21 great grand children NaTasha, Serena, Joseph, Jr., Jamie, Desitiny, Antionette, Latrice, Justice, Kira, Precious, Jocobi, Ochoa, Sean, Diontray, Shabre, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Anthony, Imani, Tristine and Anngelisa.
