Jean Helen (Jeannie Mitchell) Jones 1944 - 2007 Jean Helen Jones passed away suddenly at the Moncton City Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1944. She is survived by three wonderful sons, Billy Wortman, Kevin (Jolene) Wortman, and Michael Wortman, all from Moncton; one special grandson, Sean, and his mom, Denise; a special friend, Charlie Arseneault; sisters, Ivene (Eric) Ramsay, of Courtice, ON, Sheila (Guy) Presseault, of Moncton, Dale (Charles) Charlong, of Campbellton, NB; brothers, Roy (Sharon), of Moncton, Ben, of Moncton, and Ralph (Carol), of Australia. Jeannie had a very dear place in her heart for her sister-in-law, Carol Wortman, of Toronto, ON; true and sincere friend, Agnes Burgess. She had a sincere love for all of her nieces and nephews, especially Jody and Bradly Mitchell, of Moncton. She was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Vernon Mitchell; husband, Ron Jones; her older sister, Lois Dunsmore; and John Wortman, father to her boys. She took an interest in numerous churches. Bowling was one of her past interests, along with walking, reading, music, short bike rides, and a love for animals. She worked several years in the "Health Care Profession". Her love and kindness was demonstrated by her strong work habits. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. There will be no visitation at the request of the family. There will be a celebration of life service in loving memory of Jeannie on Tuesday, July 3rd at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her son, Kevin, and daughter-in-law, Jolene, 82 Cheryl Court, Riverview, NB, followed by an open house until 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
