BARNES _ Jean (nee Anaka). Jean was born on January 6th, 1928 passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord August 11th, 2003 in the comfort of her own home after a 12 year long battle with cancer. She is survived and missed terribly by her loving husband of 59 years, Cyril; 2 daughters Lori (Laurence) and Lani (Dan). She will also be sadly missed by all of her 6 grandchildren, as well as Dean (Angie), Giselle (Eric) and their families. All of Jean's family and friends have enjoyed her wonderful sense of humour, her very kind heart, her faith and relentless determination. She has enriched our lives forever and will be dearly missed. Graveside Service to be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation in Jean's name would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Hacquebard, Dr. Swenerton, Dr. Pike and all of you who gave support and care to her. God Bless you Mom
