-> Janie Lou Bowen Williams, 83, died Sunday, August 10, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital. She was born in Bulloch County, and had formerly worked as a Designer for Bobettes Florist. She was a member of Burkhalter Baptist Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class, the WMU, and the Bereavment Committee. She had formerly been a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a Brownie Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of America. Survivors: husband, J. D. Williams of Savannah; two daughters and sons in law, Linda Jane and Rodger Clay of Savannah and Janie Margaret and Roy Clarke of Register, GA; four grandchildren, Terri Clark, David Queen, Will Clarke, and Jay Robert Clarke, and eight more grandchildren, and eight great -grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the Burkhalter Baptist Church, with Dr. Charles G. Cooper, Sr., officiating. Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park. Mrs. Williams will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, to lie in state. Remembrances: Alzheimers Association. Hubert C.
