BELMONT ; Janice C. Johnson, 38, of 14 Vine Yard Way, died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family, after having lived with lung cancer for years. Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 18, 1968 in Manchester, the daughter of Roland W. and Jeannine R. (Pinard) Dionne. She was raised in Manchester where she spent the majority of her life until moving to Belmont in 2003. She graduated from Manchester West High School in 1987 and from Bryant College in 1991 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Mrs. Johnson had been working at Concord Hospital as a purchasing agent until February 2005. Mrs. Johnson was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont. Mrs. Johnson married Craig Henry Johnson on October 21, 2000. They had dated since 1996 and enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and watching movies together. Though never blessed with children of her own, she loved and cherished her husband, family, friends, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed afternoons out on the deck reading a book, gardening and spending time with others close to her heart. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, always putting others first and for her forgiving nature and gentle ways. In addition to her husband, Craig, of Belmont, and her parents, of Manchester, survivors include three brothers, Denis Dionne of Maryland, Richard Dionne of Manchester and Michael Dionne of Massachusetts; two sisters, Carmen Gagnon of Goffstown and Elaine Donati of Hooksett; seven nephews, six nieces; a Goddaughter, Alison Dionne, of Maryland and a Godson, Brady Camplin, of Amherst. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Whipple Avenue entrance. Due to construction at St. Joseph Parish, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 16 Chestnut St., Tilton. Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Payson Center for Cancer Care, Concord Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, 250 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301-2598 or to Community Health & Hospice Inc., 780 North Main St., Laconia NH 03246.
