Jana Ellen Lee Jana Ellen Lee, 39, of Oak Harbor, Wash., died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, from injuries suffered in an early morning fire in her apartment. A memorial service was Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sundown M Ranch, P.O. Box 217, Selah, WA 98942, or VFW Post 7392, Oak Harbor, WA. Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor (360-675- 3192) is handling arrangements.She was born May 23, 1966, in Oak Ridge, Tenn., to Joanne and Olin Lee. She was raised in the Tallahassee area, where she attended public schools, graduating from Leon High School in 1984. She went on to study in the dental field and became a dental assistant, a work she loved. In 2003, Jana suffered a medical condition that partially paralyzed her and put her in a great deal of pain.She was ultimately able to overcome her afflictions. In 2004, she moved to Oak Harbor to be closer to her mother and stepfather, first living with them and then moving out to live on her own. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Joanne and Fred McDaniel of Oak Harbor; her maternal grandmother, Frankie Timbrook of Oak Harbor; a brother, Bill Lee of Hansville, Wash.; three nieces, Megan Berlin and Heather and Caroline Lee; two stepbrothers, John McDaniel (and wife Kim) of Mount Vernon and Eddie McDaniel (and wife Becky) of Gulfport, Miss.; and a stepsister, Julie Smallwood (and husband Gary) of Indiana.She was preceded in death in 1982 by her father, Olin B. Lee Jr.
