U.S. Postal ServiceLAKELAND -- Mr. James David Williams of Lakeland died of heart disease Saturday (Dec. 20, 2003) at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. He was 51.Born in Winter Haven on Aug. 13, 1952, he came to Lakeland in 1988. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service working out of the Ybor City Post Office in Tampa, where he worked more than 15 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Christian.Mr. Williams is survived by his mother, Alberta Traylor, Morristown, Tenn.; brothers, Allan Williams, Tampa, Mike Williams, Chuck Traylor, both of Winter Haven, Jimmy Jewel, Morristown, Tenn.; sister, Anne Rene' Givens, Morristown. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
