Mr. James Edwin Morris - PORT WENTWORTH - Mr. James Edwin Morris, 80, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Mr. Morris was born in Lyons, GA to the late James R. & Daisy Morris. He served his country in the National Guard and retired from National Gypsum (Gold Bond Building Products) after 43 years of service. He loved to fish and relax at his Ogeechee River home. Survivors include two sons and a daughter- in-law, Donald Morris, Stephen & Nancy Morris; the love of his life, Liz Handy; grandchildren, Ryan, Victoria, Miranda, Christopher, Cameron and Cole Morris and several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W.
