MORRIS, James GordonFebruary 21, 1927 - May 9, 2014Jim passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Jim was born in Reston, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver at the age of 13. He was a gentleman with a gentle soul who will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Joan, his sons Gord (Deb), Brian (Margie), Grandchildren Mike (Linda), Christine (Chris), Steve (Lindsay), and Kristian, 4 Great Grandchildren Liam, Gabriella, Jordyn, and Bradley, as well as his brother Phil (Kay), and their family. He will also be missed by his many long time and dear friends who have been so supportive including Rob Dodsworth who is considered part of the family. Jim's family would also like to thank the home care support workers, South Community Health Centre, and the many doctors and nurses at VGH, including Dr. Ridley, who were very supportive. No service by Jim's request. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the a charity of your choice.
