MILLER, James Dennis 73, of Largo, died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Baycare Alliant Hospital, Dunedin. He came here in 1981 from his native Detroit, MI. He was retired from the Michigan State Police and a volunteer for the Pinellas County Sherriff's Dept. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of Korea. Survivors include his fiancee', Cay Dillon; a son, James K. and his wife, Dawn, Lake Orion, MI; four daughters, Joni Kazakos, Jill Andreatas and her husband, John and Jennifer Miller, all of St. Petersburg, and Judy Wood and her husband, Bill, Clearwater; a brother, Charles, Westland, MI; two sisters, Joan Carron, Bloomfield Hills, MI and Joyce Connelly, Panama City; grandchildren, Douglas, Jaime, Danielle, Niko, Aramis, Zachary, Annalyse and Alanah. A memorial service will be held 12:30 pm Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jimmy Hammond officiating. Inurnment will follow with military honors at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
