Jamie, of Quincy, FL, passed away at the age of 84 at the Margaret Dozier Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.Jamie was born on October 20, 1930 to the late Lark and Sealie Weeks. Jamie is survived by his wife, Dolores Weeks, his sons, Jimmy (Lisa) and Kenny (Lanie) Weeks and two stepdaughters, Angelica and Michelle Bruce. He will be remembered by his three grandchildren, Whitney Weeks VanLandingham, Kendal L. Weeks and Jamie C. Weeks and leaves behind his five stepgrandchildren Darren, Mary Anne and Laila Hernandez, Dereck Bruce and Andy Perez all of Quincy.He is also survived by two sisters, Nettie Weeks Bentley and Peggy Weeks Meagher and many nieces and nephews. Jamie was preceded in death by a brother Gene Weeks and a sister Geraldine Weeks Lott. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Charles McClellan Funeral Home.A Celebration of Jamie's life will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Town Ministries in Quincy, FL with burial immediately following at Antoich Cemetery in Wetumpka, FL.
