AccountantLAKELAND -- Mrs. Jacqueline C. Denis of Lakeland died Thursday (July 7, 2005) of lung cancer at home. She was 65.Born on Jan. 30, 1940, in Lewiston, Maine, she came to Lakeland from Beverly, Mass., in 2002. She was an accountant. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.Mrs. Denis is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Denis; son, Scott A. Denis, Murrieta, Calif.; daughters, Vicki A. Wells, Middlebury, Vt., Cynthia L. Doherty, Naples, Maine, Deborah J. Padula, Hanover, Mass.; brother, Robert Giguere, Encinitas, Calif.; sisters, Anita Manoogian, Johnstown, N.Y., Yvette Wear, Beverly, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gentry-Morrison Northside Chapel. Services will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1605 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805.
