Ida Ethel Elsie Morris March 13, 1909 - November 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home MORRIS – Ida Ethel Elsie Morris passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Sunset Extendicare in Regina at the age of 96 years. She was predeceased by: her parents John and Laura Morris, her brothers Ernest Morris and his wife Pearl, William and Percy Morris, and her sisters Eva and Grace Morris, as well as her brothers-in-law Ross Millard and Victor Findlay. She is survived by her sisters Nettie Millard and Jean Findlay both of Regina, as well as special nieces and nephews. Ida was born on the family farm north of Osage, Sask. on March 13, 1909. She attended school at Latham School District and later obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. After several years teaching in rural Saskatchewan, she later moved to Regina where she was employed by the federal government until her retirement. Ida will always be remembered as someone you could turn to in time of need and for her deep love of family. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunset Extendicare for the loving care and attention given to Ida. Cremation has already taken place and a private service will be held.
