PETERSON Ida Belle Wildman Peterson, age 86, of Bridgeport, died December 14, 2003, in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mrs. Peterson was born in Newtown and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. She was a retired employee for Schick Company. She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Peterson Sr.; her son, John A. Peterson Jr.; and her grandson. Survivors include three sons, Starr Peterson of Bridgeport, William Peterson of Virginia and George Peterson of Arkansas; one brother, Donald Wildman; one sister, Jean Barna; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road with the Rev. Paul Krampitz officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
