TODD, Henry Martin Henry "Pete" Todd passed away in Edmonton on September 21, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Henry was born on July 26, 1920 in Spruce Grove, Alberta of pioneer parents - Martin Todd of Ireland and Suzanne Curial of France. When Henry was five years old, the tragic death of his father marked the beginning of a challenging childhood and adolescence, which developed his determination and resourcefulness. These qualities served him well in his WWII army service and his business endeavors including the founding and development of Todd Cleaners in Edmonton. His memory is cherished by his wife of 64 years, Doris and his two sons, David (Vi) and Robert (Jill) and his granddaughters, Carmen Wood (Michael), Darcie Todd and Shannon Webb-Todd. He is also survived by his brothers, Tommy Todd (Millie ), Hector (Jean) and George (Theresa) Marois and his sister, Anne Marie Rhodes (Fred). Special thanks to the caregivers at Carlton Unit, Devonshire Care Center for their loving professionalism over the last four years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Roger Keeler at St. Michael's Resurrection Parish, 10555 - 50A Street, Edmonton on Saturday September 27, 2008 at 10 A.M. A private Interment to occur later at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Spruce Grove. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
