Homemaker THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Helen Young Stephens, age 57, beloved wife of Roger Stephens, of Gardener Drive, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at University Hospital, Augusta. The funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 at 11 a.m., at the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael P. Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Stephens was a native of Wilkes Co. but had made her home in Thomson for many years. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Roger Stephens, Thomson; two daughters, Paula (Glenn) Kitchens, Thomson and Brenda (Billy) Johnson, Warrenton; one step-daughter, Tina Robertson, Thomson; one step-son, Darrell Stephens, S.C.; her father, Thomas Young, Thomson; one brother, James Young, Thomson; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
