Helen Theresa Morris 1925-2013 Helen Theresa Morris, formerly of Grand Bay, wife of the late Josh Morris, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Rocmaura Nursing Home, with her family by her side. Born in Saint John on July 13, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Leo Thomas and Margaret E. (Wisted) Holland. Helen worked for a number of years at the Post Office in Grand Bay. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, as well as knitting. Helen is survived by her daughters, Andrea Lowney (Dr. Mark) of Quispamsis and Margo Beckett (Brian) of Browns Flat; grandchildren Jason Beckett (Heather) of Grand Bay, Sara Sullivan of Halifax, and Matthew Sullivan (Nathalie Deveau) of Moncton; siblings Connie Cooper of Saint John, Leo Holland of Ontario, and Sr. Kathleen Holland of Antigonish, NS; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the angels of Hopewell Court at Rocmaura Nursing Home for the excellent care provided to our mother. In keeping with Helen’s wishes, all funeral services will be held privately. For those who wish, remembrances to Rocmaura Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
