CLIFTON PARK Helen F. Mitchell, 89, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at the Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care Facility in Clifton Park. Helen was born in Albany and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Albany High School in 1934. She worked for the Westmere Elementary School in Guilderland as a secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1978. She was a former member of the Guilderland Center Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Helderberg Reformed Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Kellogg M. Mitchell in 1993. Survivors include three daughters, June (Doug) M. Clow of Rotterdam, Diane (Ernest) M. Ziobrowski of Scotia and Joyce (Myril) M. Draves of Buffalo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, John Fauth Mitchell. A special thanks to the Schuyler Ridge Health Care Facility nursing staff and chaplain and to Community Hospice of Saratoga. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Friends may call on Friday from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
