OBITUARY HAZEL DaCOSTA JORDAN On the morning of November 4, 2009, Hazel DaCosta Jordan, a.k.a "Audley" or "Camacho", passed peacefully in his sleep at Sacre-Coeur Hospital in Montreal. Born in Barbados, living in Montreal, Canada, he was the devoted son of the late Edna & Elton; dutiful husband of Velda; beloved father of Cynthia (dec.), Judy, Angela, Corrine A. (dec.), Corrine C. (dec.), Ian, Caroline, Eric and Sandra; caring brother of Lionel (of Barbados) and the late Orrie, Cecil, Lydia and Gloria; loving grandfather of Tracy, Ayanna, Tamara, Tyrene, Conrad, Christian, Jessica, Mikael, Jasmine, Bianca and the late Nadine; generous great-grandfather of Alivia, Marcus, Lilyanna and Candace Hazel; father-in-law of Peter; brother-in-law of Eurine, Sophia, Orlyn, Margaret, Deanne, Don and the late Clotelle and Lloyd; relative of Mike Clarke (USA), close friend of "Wally" Ramsay, Halvin Moore, Glyne King (UK), Nicky Braithwaite-King (of Barbados) and the late Northy Braithwaite, uncle and great-uncle of several; and relative and friend of many others. A strong, selfless, courageous, kind, humble man of duty and integrity, he will be honoured on Saturday, November 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home for visitation. The service of remembrance will be held on Monday, November 16 at Trinity Memorial Church, 5220 Rue Sherbrooke W., Mtl at 11 a.m.; burial and reception to follow.
