MALONE, HARRY, 88, of Miami Lakes, entered into new life on Jan. 4. Born in Raymond, Washington on Dec. 15, 1917, he was the youngest of four children of John and Helen Malone, having moved to Miami during early childhood. A veteran of World War II, he was pre-deceased by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie, brothers James and John, and sister Frances. Mr. Malone founded Acme Processors in 1954, a family owned business specializing in oil recycling. His and his son's company has been a fixture in the south Florida area for over 50 years. Left to lovingly cherish his memory and "Fighting Irish" spirit are daughter, Judy Troxell (son-in-law Joe) of Orlando; son, Terry (daughter-in-law Marie) of Hialeah; and three grandchildren: Michael Reeves of Baltimore, Anthony Malone of Hialeah, and Cheryl Malone of Hialeah. Funeral services will be held at Vista Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014, (305-821-1421) at 4:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 7, with viewing from 2:00 - 4:00. Interment will take place privately at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Miami, at a later date.
