TARASUK, Harriett Elizabeth (Jackson) - of Sarnia passed away at her home on Monday, April 6, 2009, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Alfred “Barney“ Tarasuk (2000). Dear mother of Marianne and Tom Jackson and Lynn Laidler and friend Steve Cebulski, all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Cory, Craig, Laura, Leigh and Alexander Predeceased by a grandson Graeme. Great grandmother of 5. Harriet retired from Prestolite in 1978 after more then 30 years of service. She was a member of W.A.N.A. #515 and life member of the R.C.L. Branch #62. Visitation at the STEWART FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, April 7. 2009 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Shuttleworth of Dunlop United Church officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Poppy Fund or Dunlop United Church.
