Homemaker EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Gula Mae Crouch Davis, 98, of Edgefield, wife of the late James Rudolph Davis, died Monday 9-21-2009 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 9-23-2009 at 2 P.M. at Edgefield United Methodist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Mamie Rankin Crouch. She was the oldest member of Edgefield United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She retired from Crest Manufacturing Co. and the Edgefield County School District. Survivors include one daughter, Elaine (Stan) Logan, Cadwell, Ga.; two sisters, Julia Herndon, West Columbia, Lettie Morris, Edgefield; two grandchildren, Russell Logan, Atlanta, Ga., Brian Logan, Cadwell, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Jessie, Bailey Jean, and Christa. Memorials may be made to Edgefield United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 25, Edgefield, S.C. 29824 or Epworth Children's Home, P.O. Box 50466, Columbia, S.C. 29250-9988. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday before the service at the Edgefield United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
