SANTANA GONZALEZ Gloria Ester Santana Gonzalez, age 76, of Bridgeport, passed into peaceful rest with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Gloria was a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved to the Bridgeport area almost 50 years ago. Her Great sense of humor and generous heart and wonderful cooking will never be forgotten. She is survived by her sons, Victor, Carlos, Juan Santana, Edgar, David, Salvador and Hector Gonzalez; daughters, Jenny Santana, Anna Cecilia Cruz and Leonora Gonzalez; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Gospel Light Community Church, 222 Charles Street, Bridgeport, followed by interment in Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, Directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. The Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. washington Avenue, Bridgpeort, has been entrusted with arrangements. All floral deliveries are to be made directly to the church.
