Davis, Gladys Hancock, 90 of Columbia, SC, and formerly of Ft. Lauderdale died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in Columbia, SC. Born in Sylvester, GA. She was the daughter of the late Marion J. Hancock and Clara Keen Hancock. She and her late husband, Dan H. Davis, who predeceased her in 1976, owned and operated the Modern Pharmacy of Ft. Lauderdale for Thirty years. A member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale since 1946. She was also active in the choir and worship ministry and served as a teacher in Sunday School. Survived by nine nieces and five nephews. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Friday, March 4, 2005 at FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER 299 N. Federal Hwy. Ft.Lauderdale, Fl. Graveside Services will be Saturday at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery.
