GERTRUDE S. KAMINSKI (NEE MYSLIWCZYK) HAMMOND, IN Gertrude S. Kaminski, (nee Mysliwczyk), age 91 of Hammond, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point. She is survived by her two daughters: Darlene (Gregory) Zubeck and Dorothy (Ronald) Peterson; three grandchildren: Jeffrey (Tammy) Zubeck, Angela Zubeck, and Kathryn Peterson; four great grandchildren: Trinity, Emily, Sydney, and Nolan Zubeck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Joseph J. Kaminski; son, Joseph J. Kaminski Jr.; parents: John and Tillie Mysliwczyk; and brother, Ted Mysliwczyk. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Avenue, Hammond (two blocks E. of Hohman, one block N. of Gostlin); 12:00 Noon Mass at St. Casimir Church with Rev. Vladimir Janeczek officiating. Entombment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Gertrude was a member of St. Casimir Parish, worked for many years for Canteen Corporation, was a volunteer at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital with over 3000 hours of service, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Msgr. Connelly Council. She was devoted to her husband and family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
