Memorial service for Gerald Thomas Fleming, Helen Drive, DeLand,who died Dec. 20, 2007, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, DeLand, with Father Don Lyons officiating. Born in Council, Bluffs, Iowa, he was retired from the Navy and retired as a Chief of Orange City Police Dept. Survivors include his son, Steven Fleming; grandchildren, Jamie Fleming, Kristina Fleming and her husband, Mark Young, Alyssa Register, Nicole and Savannah Hanrahan; and ex-daughter-in-law, Doris Marusa.
