Hawthorne — George C. Flanagan, 66, died May 3. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in Hawthorne since 1987. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Fordham University, he was a retired import/export expeditor and manager. He was an avid Phillies Phan, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Fyke Nature Association. He was the husband of Carol; brother-in-law of Linda Lemke of Piscataway; and uncle of Jennifer. Funeral was May 7. Arrangements by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.
