PETERSON, George Albert - After a courageous battle with cancer, the family announces with great sorrow the passing of George Albert Peterson, in his 57th year, at the Stedman Hospice on April 25, 2007. Leaving behind his loving wife and soul mate of 33 years, Doris (Jensen), much loved father of George (Lila), Michael, Shane and Brad (Jessie). Adoring Papa to Savanna, Amber, Deanna, Addison, Shyanne, Keira, Steven, Kristen and Hayden. Beloved son of Muriel (Jack), loving brother of Marilyn (Carl), Bob (Joyce), Walt (Alice), Don (Kelly), Bev (Ray) and Jean (Jim). Cherished son-in-law of Anna Jensen, treasured nephew of Aunt Eva. Dear brother-in-law of Conny, Denise, Kathe, Maryann (Bill), Stan (Arlene),Pete (Deena), Tony (Deb) and Yvonne (Roger). Best friend and dedicated hunting buddies of Pete, John, Dan, Greg, Wayne and Mark. Will also be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by father Carl (1976) Father-in-law Elmer (1993), Brother-in-law Rick (2006) and granddaughter Kendra (2006). The family wishes to thank all staff and volunteers at the Stedman Hospice for the amazing care and compassion during his stay. Special thanks to everyone at Wal-Mart for their never ending support during this very difficult time. Arrangements have been entrusted to TRANQUILITY BURIAL AND CREMATION SERVICES. Cremation has taken place. Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life that will take place May 5, 2007 from 2 pm - 4 pm at 53 Consol Rd, Brantford.
